About the Author

Nadia Saleem has spent over a decade in the mountains — and somehow still isn’t tired of them. An ex-journalist turned communications professional, she’s also a mountaineering student, a full-time peace negotiator between two toddlers, and a woman whose weekends tend to start with a GPS and end with a philosophical crisis.
She’s learned a lot about herself through hiking. Like how altitude really does shift perspective — and how rocks don’t lie, but they’ll trip you if you’re not paying attention.
